It may not be ‘news’ news to most people of India but Kerala – or Keralam as we refer to it – is the land of coconuts, coconut republic, or simply nutty over coconut-y! the coastal region of Kerala poses as the perfect natural region of the best quality of coconuts to grow. Compared to few other coastal regions, the soil and climatic conditions here are capable of producing thick, juicy, “oily”-rich coconuts that yield a greater quality oil when compressed.
